This is an exciting post! A few months ago I wrote a post about using the Raspberry Pi as an alternative to a traditional PC. Now one of the volunteers is helping a local primary school to implement a computer lab running on Raspberry Pi computers!! This project has the potential of dramatically impacting the future of the students at the school. It’s quite exciting, because even better than my initial look at using the Pi along with traditional peripherals, the PCV is going to use Motorola lapdocks!
Please check out the project, donate and share it with everyone you can. This project can change the way computer labs are thought of in the country. Once it is running, people will point to it and realize there is an easier, cheaper, and better way to get technology in front of the students here who so desperately need tech integrated into their lives.
